UM-1 IS
A BETTER SYSTEM
The UM-1
is larger military version of the JALBERT PARAFOIL. It is an undisputed fact
that the JALBERT PARAFOIL is a superior canopy in both design and
performance.
The
JALBERT PARAFOIL is the only parachute in the history of parachuting to
dominate the accuracy event for over a decade. It has no equal. It is one of
the few if not the only product of any kind to dominate any sporting or
competitive event for so long and so overwhelmingly.

This
success could not have been achieved without a Ram-Air canopy of superior

The
performance and characteristics needed in a HALO/HAHO canopy are exactly the
same as those required in accuracy canopy. A safe, stable canopy that will
seek the wind line, be less prone to oscillation and have the ability to
make a vertical approach. The Jalbert Parafoil does that better than any
other parachute.
First of
all, you need a stably parachute. The mission is greatly compromised if
there is an accident on landing. Most insertion missions are at night and
the men are not necessarily experienced parachutists. There is a high level
of stress due to the nature of the activity and the experience level of the
men involved. The last thing they need is equipment that will require a
higher level of proficiency is necessary.
TACTICAL
PARACHUTES USED FOR ANTI-TERRORIST AND POLICE OPERATIONS
Tactical
Parachutes are commonly used for Anti-Terrorist and Police operations. Often
by the same elite Special Operations HALO/HAHO Troops. Here again the UM-1
has no equal in this area. These operations often require pinpoint landing
and/or landing in a very tight congested area. Some examples would be the
need to land on the tops of buildings, in small clearings surrounded by
trees, buildings or other obstacles or on moving objects such as a train or
boat.
There is
no Parachute made that can do this better than the UM-1 TACTICAL GLIDING
PARACHUTE using the JALBERT PARAFOIL.
The UM-1
is the finest all around tactical parachute made. It is the logical choice
for all of your Special Operation needs.
